Where Our Stories Meet

Hilary and Andy’s August 22, 2026 wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the life they’re building together. Surrounded by family and friends, their day was filled with so much thought, emotion, and love - a celebration not just of two people getting married, but of two families coming together.

With their daughters playing such special roles in the day, there was something extra meaningful about watching Hilary and Andy begin this next chapter as one family. Every detail felt intentional, from the elegant white and gold reception décor to their stunning cupcake tower topped with a cake featuring a bride and groom figurine. In one especially sweet personal touch, Hilary even painted the groom’s hair on the cake topper to match Andy’s real hair colour!

Of course, the day had plans of its own. With rain pouring throughout the afternoon, their outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside the Hellenic Centre. But sometimes, the unexpected moments become the ones you remember most. We found the most beautiful alternative for their first look, private vows, and photos at Wildflower Seed Acres. The greenhouse was intimate, unique, and the perfect setting for a few quiet moments together before the celebrations continued. With umbrellas in hand and a few very dedicated members of the bridal party helping us out, we did whatever it took to make sure the photographers got the shots!

The rain eventually eased after the ceremony, giving us a little window to capture more photos outside the venue before the weather took another turn. It was a day that certainly kept everyone on their toes, but through it all, the love in the room never changed.

Hilary and Andy’s wedding was a reminder that blending families is about more than a wedding day - it’s about choosing each other, bringing your people together, and beginning something beautiful as one. And even with the unexpected weather, their day was filled with the kind of love that makes a celebration unforgettable.
